Disciples of the acclaimed Duo Silver Garburg and Duo del Valle, Anton & Maite Piano Duo belongs to a new generation of piano duos, showing a brilliant freshness and technique, in addition to an overwhelming personality. 


Anton & Maite Piano Duo is a Russian - Spanish Duo based in Austria, with an intense concert and artistic activity. First Prize winners of Mirabent i Magrans International Competition, First Prize in Luigi Zanuccoli International Competition, First and Second Prize (VIII and VI editions) in the Antón García Abril International Competition, as well as Special Prize for "The best interpretation of a piece by García Abril". They also have the 2nd Prize in Jeunesses Musicales of Spain, 2nd Prize in the International Panticosa Competition and 3rd Prize at the Martha Debelli Competition.


The musical press described them as a duo "with great sensitivity and musical taste", with a "perfect synchronization between both pianists”. Their delicacy and deep passion make their interpretations unique.


They frequently play in countries like Spain, Italy, Austria, Poland and China, and they have performed in halls such as the Zaragoza Auditorium or the Harbin Grand Theater (China), and played as soloist with orchestras like CSMA Symphony Orchestra and Goya Symphony Orchestra.


The duo started in the Conservatory of Music of Aragon (Spain), with the pianist Miguel Ángel Ortega Chavaldas and Duo Del Valle, also receiving lessons from the recently National Music Prize of Spain, the Quiroga Quartet. After graduating with the best qualifications, they study a Master degree in Piano Duo with Silver Garburg Duo, at the University of Performing Arts of Graz (Austria).

Anton & Maite are currently one of the most prominent Spanish duos on the international scene, giving radio and TV interviews and winning the most important competitions in their country.


Among their closest projects, they will release their debut CD "Samsara" and perform in important Music Festivals for the 2020 season.
